1. What does Ooh La La Manufacturing LLC do, exactly? We are a small, Minneapolis based company that works in collaboration with Guitar Effect designers. We approve their designs, then manufacture and distribute their pedals/products. They then can go back to designing more exciting pedals for us to play with and we do what we do best which is produce a lot of pedals, quickly with quality in mind.
2.Does Ooh La La have their own designs, or just sell other inventor's designs? Right now (August 2007) we only carry the Black Box Effects line of pedals and some Effector 13 designs. In the future we plan to carry other designers as well as designing our own effects.
3. Who are the designers at Ooh La La? Lorren Stafford is behind Black Box Effects and Devi Ever is behind the Effector 13 line. You can google them and get some info, mostly they are smart guys who know their effects. They have been around for 7 and 4 years respectively. We believe in their designs and want to make them more readily available to people.
4.Does Ooh La La sell directly to the public? No, only to stores. Contact me if there is not a store in your area and I will point you in the right direction for some sales help.
5.How can I get my local store to carry brand Ooh La La? Thanks for the compliment, send me an email with the stores contact info and yours so that I can contact them and let them know who recommended them.
6. What is Ooh La La's warranty? Lifetime warranty with $10-$20 shipping/handling fee with an exception for user abuse (see user abuse true/false quiz on the bottom of the repairs page). And we promise we will fix it within a reasonable amount of time, it is very important to us that all customers are happy with their pedals.
7.Is there anyway Ooh La La will do custom artwork for my pedal? Most likely YES, but for how timely it would be, is anyone's guess. Contact Amada if you are interested and just as a warning, if you consistently bug Amada about when your pedal will be done she will eventually decide it is too much of a bother and cancel the order, so be nice and patient. She and Jason will work as fast as possible to finish it, with care and quality in mind, not fast and sloppy!
8.Will Ooh La La design custom electronics for my pedal/rack/gear? Nope, sorry, ain't gonna do it. |
